Disrupting the Dialogue: Design the Next-Gen Social Platform/Inclusive Communication

In the celebration of World Telecommunication Day (May 17th), Power Hacks aims to tackles the need for a communication revolution! Existing platforms often struggle with negativity, misinformation, and accessibility. This hackathon empowers YOU to “disrupt the conversation” by designing the next-gen social platform: inclusive, accessible, and fostering meaningful connection. Let’s bridge divides and build a future of positive communication together.

Smart Cities for All: Hacking Solutions for a Sustainable Future

In addition, this Power Hacks aims to contribute to tackling the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. Through innovative tech solutions, participants can address challenges like resource management, waste reduction, and infrastructure development, all with a focus on inclusivity – ensuring all residents benefit from a sustainable and resilient city.

With rapid urbanization, creating smart cities that are environmentally responsible and cater to the needs of all citizens is crucial. This hackathon empowers participants to be at the forefront of this global movement.

Level Up Learning: Building Innovative Education Tools for All

Traditional education models often leave some learners behind. This theme encourages the creation of engaging, accessible, and personalized educational tools using innovative methods like gamification and online reward systems. By empowering participants to think outside the box, the hackathon can bridge the educational gap and create pathways for inclusive learning

In addition, the education sector is facing challenges in managing growing class sizes. By focusing on tools that can support educators in managing large learner groups, this theme encourages the creation of solutions that can empower teachers and trainers, ultimately leading to better learning outcomes for all.
